Who are we?

We are a bi-cultural team, with 20 years professional experience in consultancy, business and cultural exchange between Europe and Asia. Men and women, we are all experts in consultancy and international trade.

Libin LIU LE GRIX, General Manager / Consultant

After graduating in French Literature and in Communications in China, Libin Liu Le Grix obtained her economics diploma in 1992 at Paris Sorbonne I where she got 1st Class Honors for her dissertation "Franco-Chinese Foreign Trade Development from 1949 until 1992".

Her first professional experience was acquired in Beijing at CGWIC, China National Great Wall Industry Corporation of China Aeronautics Industry Ministry from 1984 to 1990. She was Project Manager successively in the Importation and International Marketing Departments.

Since coming to France in 1990,  she has  held  several  positions  including  China  Export Manager at Magra Industrie  (automobile industry),    Greater  China  and  South-East Asia Manager  within   Microfolie’s  Group (multimedia),    Europe  Sales  Manager  at  Webraska (telecommunications)  before creating 2L'FX INTERNATIONAL in 2003.

Serge LAFONT, partner/co-founder

Serge Lafont is a graduate from Ecole Normale Supérieure (in Physics), where he received a Doctorate,  and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées (1983), where he studied Civil Engineering.

After working as a project engineer for Matra Transit (now a Siemens branch) in the United States from 1985 to 1988, he serves as a government official, first in the Ministry of Economy, then in the Presidency as Senior Advisor to French President François Mitterrand, in charge of International Economy and Foreign Trade, till 1995.  He then returns to the world of business and international trade, through executive positions in companies such as Microfolies Group, INA, Millimages, and most recently AREVA from 2002 to 2012, where he was Vice President for Southern Africa, and lastly Executive Vice President for Business Development.

His first contacts with China date back to the early 1990s, when he participated in official ministerial visits while serving in the Presidency.

He is a co founder of 2L’FX along with Libin Liu Le Grix, and the CEO of 4W Advest, a company devoted to the development of infrastructures in Africa.
